Hemangiosarcoma is an insideous form of cancer that develops in the blood vessels of the heart, liver, and spleen and is 100% fatal.  An almost silent killer, dogs generally do not show signs of a life threatening disease, until they collaps from a rupture.  Even when detected and treated with surgery and or chemotherapy life expectancy is 2 weeks to 3 months.
